ARRESTS AND BOOKINGS

NEW ARRESTS

Robert E. Billsten, 54, Hillsboro, arrested Monday by Hillsboro police on a warrant alleging that he violated his probation. Held in lieu of $400,000 bond. Previously jailed July 13 to 24 for failing to appear in court, for allegedly violating his probation, and for forfeiture of bond in a Sedgwick County probation violation and May 27 on suspicion of possessing stimulants, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia and of not having vehicle liability insurance.

Shannon L. DeNardi, 49, Peabody, arrested Thursday by Peabody police on suspicion of driving without a valid license. Released an hour later after posting $200 cash.

Michael A. Henderson, 20, Wichita, jailed Sept. 12 for allegedly violating his probation. Released five hours later on his own recognizance, promising to pay $20,000 should he fail to appear in court. Previously jailed March 14 to Aug. 4 on suspicion of distribting stimulants and possessing marijuana.

Hugh R. Mulhern Jr., 20, Marion, arrested Sept. 12 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery, aggravated assault, and aggravated endangerment of a child. Released Friday after posting a $15,000 bond.

Brenda S. Phillips, 65, Newton, jailed Sept. 12 for allegedly violating her probation twice. Released an hour later after posting $20,000 in bonds. Previously jailed May 19 to 21 on court orders and March 21 to 23, 2022, on suspicion of possessing stimulants, drug paraphernalia, and marijuana.

Donta R. Roberts, 40, Junction City, arrested Sept. 12 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of driving while his license was suspended. Released 10 hours later after posting a $2,000 bond. Previously jailed July 27 to Aug. 21 for contempt of court, June 12 and 13 for failing to appear in court, and Nov. 17 to 19 for failing to appear in court.

Dawn M. Setzer, 40, North Newton, jailed Friday for three days on court orders. Previously jailed March 30 and 31 for allegedly violating her probation, Feb. 18 and 19 on suspicion of possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia, Dec. 4 and 5 again on suspicion of possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia, and May 22 and 23, 2022, for a third time on suspicion of possession of stimulants.
