NEW JAILINGS

Kyle E. Brown, 39, Wichita, arrested Monday by Peabody police on suspicion of driving an unregistered vehicle, without liability insurance, while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. Held in lieu of $5,000 in bonds.

William P. Castleberry, 46, Burns, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed Dec. 12 to 14, 2022, on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery, child endangerment, and child abuse and May 15, 2022, on suspicion of battery.

Dakota L. Dillashaw, 29, Hays, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed 15 times for a total of 211 days between June 12, 2017, and June 1, 2023. Previous jailings were on court orders five times, for failing to appear in court six times, for allegedly violating his probation three times, and on suspicion of domestic battery, criminal damage to property, and violation of an order for protection from abuse.

Donald D. Hokanson, 41, Topeka, jailed Monday on suspicion of violating an order of protection from abuse. Released two hours later after posting a $5,000 bond. Previously jailed Sept. 28 and 29, 2020, on suspicion of domestic battery.

Andrea D. Melbye, 39, Florence, jailed Dec. 5 for allegedly violating her probation. Released two hours later. Bond amount, if any, not reported. Previously jailed Dec. 15, 2022, on suspicion of possessing stimulates and drug paraphernalia.

Lilia V. Orozco, 48, Hillsboro, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of three counts of giving a worthless check. Released two hours later after posting a $2,500 bond.

Austin E. Stahlheber, 20, Hillsboro, jailed Friday for failing to appear in court. Released 18 minutes later after posting a $10,000 bond. Previously jailed five times for a total of 11 days between Jan. 23 and Oct. 29. Previous jailings were on court orders, for failing to appear in court, for allegedly violating his probation, and on suspicion of criminal damage to property, domestic battery, and possession of stimulants, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
