NEW JAILINGS

Christopher S. Ashe, 36, Herington, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy for failing to appear in court. Released a day later after posting a $25,000 bond.

Randy R. Carlson, 32, Marion, jailed March 13 on suspicion of violating an order of protection, making a criminal threat, burglary, criminal damage to property, and theft. Released a day later after posting $25,000 in bonds. Previously jailed Nov. 14 and 15, 2019, on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery, aggravated child endangerment, and intimidation of a witness or victim.

Chris D. Carr, 43, Peabody, arrested Sunday by Peabody police on suspicion of theft. Released two hours later after posting a $7,500 bond.

Shannon L. DeNardi, 49, Peabody, arrested Sunday by Peabody police for allegedly violating her probation. Released an hour later after posting a $5,000 bond. Previously jailed Oct. 13 to 15 on court orders and Sept. 14 on suspicion of driving without a license.

Joelyn R. Moody, 62, Wichita, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Released eight hours later after posting $3,500 in bonds.

Samuel I. Reffett, 41, Galena, jailed Saturday on court orders. Previously jailed eight times for a total of 45 days between Jan. 21, 2022, and June 28, 2023. Previous jailings were on court orders three times, for failing to appear in court once, for allegedly violating his probation three times, and on suspicion of domestic battery twice, driving without a required anti-drinking interlock, tampering with an interlock, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Tyler M. Regier, 30, McPherson, jailed Monday for 14 days on court orders. Previously jailed Sept. 28 and 29, 2019, on suspicion of driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked and May 25 to 30, 2018, for failing to appear in court and allegedly violating his probation.

Kelby J. Schmidt, 30, Halstead, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy for allegedly violating probation. Bond not set. Previously jailed 11 times for a total of 51 days between Feb. 10, 2022, and Dec. 17, 2023. Previous jailings were on court orders six times, for allegedly violating his probation twice, and on suspicion of criminal damage to property, reckless driving, interfering with law enforcement, being a pedestrian under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and attempted harassment by a telecommunication device.

Tony L. Smith, 66, Wichita, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed April 24 for failing to appear in court.
