County students to perform in opera

Bethel College students Michelle Unruh of Goessel and Amy Wedel of Peabody will be among the performers in the college’s production of “The Pirates of Penzance.” It is a comedic opera written by W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan.

Shows will be at 7:30 p.m. March 7 and 8 and 2 p.m. March 9 in Krehbiel Auditorium. Tickets are available at the college’s student center in North Newton, by calling (316) 284-5205, or at the door, subject to availability.
