Robert J. Stewart, 213 S.W. 2nd, Newton; restitution set at $9,900 June 13 for two counts of battery.

Robert Scott Ayers, 208 Mockingbird, McPherson; failure to appear in court June 13 on a charge of giving a worthless check; bench warrant issued with $50 bond.

Tyler G. Jones; 212 N. Prospect, Lehigh; diversion agreement filed May 21 on charges of obstructing official duty, fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer, and failure to obey a lawful order of a police officer. Defendant must pay $125 diversion fee, $138 court costs, $22 surcharge, $300 fines, and $45 booking fee. Diversion lasts 12 months; case dismissed if diversion successfully completed.

William M. Hess, 1968 K-256, Marion; sentenced May 21 on a conviction of disorderly conduct; sentenced to five days in jail with unsupervised probation for six months; must pay $138 court costs, $22 surcharge, and $45 booking fee. Defendant forbidden from having contact with victims and forbidden from entering the VFW; defendant must complete 30 hours of community service.

Lauren David Goddard, 208 N. 4th, Marion; sentenced May 21 on a conviction of possession of an hallucinogenic drug (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia; given a 17-month controlling prison term and 12-month jail term underlying 12 months of probation; defendant must pay $195 court costs, $200 DNA database fee, $400 KBI lab fee, $120 correctional supervision fee, $675 BIDS attorney fee, and $45 booking and fingerprinting fee; defendant prohibited from entering businesses that make a majority of their revenue from alcohol sales and ordered to submit to random drug and alcohol tests and DNA registration. Defendant must complete a drug and alcohol evaluation and abide by its recommendations.

Harley Brammer, 911 S. Santa Fe, Chanute; waived probation revocation hearing and stipulated to violation June 11; disposition hearing scheduled July 16.

Nicholas Hoffner, 811 Lawrence, Durham; had first appearance June 12 on probation revocation hearing; arraignment scheduled for July 23.

Bradford A. Cody Jr., 144 N. Roosevelt, Marion; pleaded no-contest June 12 to attempted obstruction of official duty; sentenced to controlling 60-day jail term and 12 months supervised probation; ordered submit to random drug and alcohol testing; ordered to pay $138 court costs, $22 surcharge, $60 probation fee, and $45 booking fee.

Ralph W. Ballinger, 115 N. Alleghany, El Dorado; had first appearance June 12 on a charge of violation of a protection order; counsel appointed; arraignment scheduled for July 10.

Julia D. McVey, 140 E. 10th St., Newton; had first appearance June 12 on six charges of giving a worthless check; counsel appointed; arraignment scheduled for July 2.

Adam Tyler Mosier, Burns; had first appearance June 12 on charges of possession of an hallucinogenic drug (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia; preliminary hearing scheduled for Aug. 22.

Ashley E. Johnson, 212 S. Date, Hillsboro; arraigned June 13; pleaded innocent of a charge of disorderly conduct and requested bench trial; bench trial scheduled for Sept. 12.

Tyler J. Slater, 586 Needle St., Peabody; arraigned June 13; pleaded innocent of a charge of disorderly conduct and requested bench trial; bench trial scheduled for Sept. 10.

Dakota Landon Dillashaw, 409 S. Cedar, Hillsboro; charges of battery on a law enforcement officer and attempted escape from custody dismissed June 13. Case will be refiled as a juvenile case.

Richard Reimann, 405 S. Birch St. Lot 2, Hillsboro; arraigned June 13; diversion status hearing scheduled for July 23 on charges of possession of an hallucinogenic drug (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Shelby Cheyenne Percel, 1730 Pawnee Road, Marion; sentenced June 13 on a conviction of misdemeanor theft; sentenced to controlling 30-day jail term with 12 months supervised probation; must submit to random drug and alcohol testing; forbidden from entering Johnson’s General Store.

Traffic

Douglas K. Boucher, 822 E. Court, Smith Center; diversion agreement filed May 7 on a charge of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol; charge of transportation of liquor in an open container dismissed. Defendant must pay $750 fine, $200 diversion fee, $98 court costs, and $45 booking fee, obtain an A.S.A.P. evaluation and abide by its recommendations. Defendant forbidden from entering businesses that make a majority of their revenue from alcohol sales. Diversion lasts 12 months; case dismissed if diversion successfully completed.

Gary D. Williams, Marion; had first appearance June 12 on probation revocation hearing; counsel appointed; arraignment scheduled for July 2.

Leslie W. Coker, 3033 S. Fern, Wichita; sentenced June 12 on a conviction of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol; sentenced to controlling six-month jail term with 12 months supervised probation and 48 hours jail time; must pay $76 court costs, $22 surcharge, $60 probation fee, $1,000 fine, and $45 booking fee; must submit to random drug and alcohol testing; forbidden from using alcohol or illicit drugs and from entering businesses that make a majority of their revenue from alcohol sales; ordered to complete alcohol information school and comply with recommendations.

Tyler J. Slater, 586 Needle St., Peabody; arraigned June 13; pleaded innocent of charges of driving while license canceled, suspended, or revoked and driving in violation of ignition interlock device restriction on driver’s license and requested bench trial; bench trial scheduled for Sept. 10.
