Harold Allan Dornbush, 209 E. Broadway, Newton; sentenced Oct. 15 on conviction of endangering a child and disorderly conduct to 13 month controlling jail term and given 12 months probation; ordered to pay $1,062.20; must perform 20 hours community service if he loses his job; prohibited from using drugs or alcohol or entering an establishment that receives most of its revenue from alcohol sales; must submit to drug and alcohol testing; ordered to undergo mental health evaluation if requested by court services offer; prohibited from having contact with victim unless mother is present.
Kimberly Joy Funk, 102 E. Kansas, Lehigh; third amended complaint filed Nov. 16; charged with two counts misdemeanor theft.
Susan E. Gambrel, 707 W. Kansas Ave. Lot 16, McPherson; arraigned on motion to revoke probation Oct. 15, denied allegations; hearing set for Nov. 19.
Michael G. Hemmer, 309 Kansas St., Lincolnville; arraigned Oct. 15 on charges of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, endangering a child, transporting alcohol in an open container, and speeding (75 mph in 65 mph zone); pleaded not guilty to all charges and requested jury trial.
Keith Hess, 1980 Ridge Road, Marion; second amended complaint filed Nov. 20; charged with two counts of battery.
Clinton Kidd, 309 C St., Ramona; status hearing held Oct. 15 on charge of domestic battery; bench trial set for Dec. 11.
Julia D. McVey, 1408 E. 10th St., Newton; scheduling conference held Oct. 15; bench trial set for Dec. 18 and status hearing set for Jan. 7 on charges of six counts of giving a worthless check.
Leslie Scott Yehle, 128½ Walnut St., Peabody; made first appearance Nov. 5 on charges of nonresidential burglary and misdemeanor theft; preliminary hearing set for Nov. 28.
Traffic
David B. Buller, 305 N. Ash St., Hillsboro; pleaded no contest Nov. 1 to driving under the influence; failure to yield when making left turn dismissed; sentencing set for Dec. 12; drug and alcohol evaluation must be completed by Dec. 7.
Kimberly Joy Funk, 205 E. Kansas, Lehigh; arraignment on charges of driving while license canceled, suspended, or revoked and no child restraint system continued from Oct. 17 to Nov. 13.
