Jaron Chase Palmer, original charges amended Aug. 4 to possession of marijuana, assault, possession of drug paraphernalia, no proof of insurance, and no tag light. Removed from the charges was criminal possession of a firearm. On Aug. 30, Palmer pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to 24 months probation.
