William A. Dykens, 36, Hillsboro, formally was charged Thursday with eight counts of aggravated criminal sodomy of a child younger than 14, three counts of rape of a child younger than 14, and three counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child younger than 14.

Paul F. Baatrup, 23, Wichita, was sentenced Feb. 5 to 24 months’ probation and ordered to pay $458 for violation of the Kansas Offender Registration Act.

Kevin W. Geren, 62, Marion, was sentenced Nov. 11 to 18 months’ community corrections for possession of methamphetamine and 12 months’ community corrections for fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement. The sentences were ordered to run concurrently.

Holly R. Hamm, 40, Hillsboro, pleaded no contest Feb. 5 to vehicle burglary. Sentencing is scheduled for April 22.

Alejandro Luna, 43, Topeka, formally was charged Feb. 20 with distribution of methamphetamine.

Byron D. McDonald formally was charged Feb. 22 with disorderly conduct.

Brent A. Paquette, 30, Peabody, formally was charged Feb. 21 with aggravated battery and criminal restraint.

Gary L. Steele pleaded guilty Feb. 13 to domestic battery, child endangerment, and criminal restraint. Charges of aggravated battery and aggravated assault were dismissed. Sentencing is scheduled for March 4.
