Daddy-daughter dance set March 29

Families and Children Together’s third annual Daddy-Daughter dance is set for 5:30 p.m. March 29 at Hillsboro Middle School’s gymnasium.

The county-wide fundraiser helps FACT raise money to help families and children throughout the 12 communities of Marion County.

Last year’s event set a record attendance of 178 daughters and dads to snack, visit, enjoy friends, and dance to the music of DJ Mac.

This year’s theme will be “Under the Cherry Blossoms.” The dance is open to anyone living in Marion County. Tickets are $20 a couple with a $5 charge for each additional daughter. A snack buffet and beverages will be provided.

Registration forms will be distributed at elementary schools. Registration forms and checks are due by March 24 and can be returned to Hillsboro City Office, Marion Parks and Recreation Office, or mailed to FACT, 416 S. Date, Hillsboro, Kansas 67063.
