David Sheppard

Services for David Sheppard, 68, who died April 28 at his home in Hillsboro, will be this summer.

He was born March 5, 1953, in Smith Center to R.G. and Eda (Lippitt) Sheppard.

He was the director of Marion County Special Education Coop.

He married Marla Pruitt Dec. 20, 1997, in Lawrence.

Survivors include wife Marla of Hillsboro; daughters Rhiannon Corn of Hays, MacKensie Cornell of Mulvane, and Madison Sheppard of Hillsboro; brother Mike Sheppard of Olathe; sister Debbie Evangelidis of Manhattan; and two grandchildren.
