Roy and Nadine Davis returned home Wednesday after spending a week visiting at the home of Larry and Eileen Schmidt and Kasey at Clarksdale, Mississippi. On the way home, they stopped to visit Dorothy Walters at Rogers, Arkansas.
Patrick Hanes of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, was a Tuesday and Wednesday overnight guest of Clayton and Betty Wiebe. He had come for the Conference care meetings. The Wednesday meeting was held at Morning Star Church, and meetings Thursday and Friday were at Hesston Meridian Church.
Jason and Sheri Wiebe had Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Merlin and Karletta Wiebe, and Calla Wenger as their dinner guests Sunday.
Dora Unruh attended a bridal shower for Marissa Diener on Sunday at Durham Baptist Church fellowship hall.
Calvin and Janene Wiebe entertained the Morning Star youth Sunday after church with refreshments.
Wendell and Linda Wedel, Roy and Nadine Davis, Darrel and Dontia Rhodes and Sandy Wiebe attended a benefit supper served by the youth Saturday at United Center Church.
Craig and Deanne Becker, Caleb and Tiffany of Elkton, Virginia, granddaughter of Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, have been visiting in the area and were Sunday overnight guests of the Wiebes. Sunday evening after church relatives that got together at the Wiebe home were Jasper and Joni Zeiset, Kelton and Lillian, Mark and Kris Wiebe, Aaron and Janessa Herbel and Kade, Merlin and Karletta Wiebe, Jason and Sheri Wiebe and girls, Rebecca Thomas and family, and Anthony and Beth Wiebe and family. After having breakfast in Durham with the grandparents Monday, the Becker family left for Texas to help with the corn harvest.
