Edna Suderman

Edna Suderman, 86, Hillsboro, died Nov. 24, 2008.

Born Dec. 15, 1921 in Hillsboro, she was the daughter of Peter J. and Anna (Funk) Koop.

She was a homemaker and a member of Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church.

She married Eli J. Suderman May 25, 1942 at Hillsboro. He survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Don and June Suderman of rural Hillsboro and Lyle and Julie Suderman of Olathe; two daughters, Carla and Ken Koslowsky of Hillsboro and Krista and Steven Bryant of Concordia; one brother, Wallace Koop of Visilia, Calif.; one sister, Lorna Gerbrandt of Sacramento, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were Nov. 28 at Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church of Hillsboro with Pastor Gaylord Goertzen presiding.

Burial preceded funeral services at Ebenfeld Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.

A memorial fund has been established with the church.
