Frank Peters

Frank W. Peters, 92, of Hillsboro, died Nov. 21, 2008.

Born Feb. 13, 1916, in Inman, he was the son of Jacob and Katie (Warkentin) Peters. He was a farmer.

On May 23, 1937, he married Martha Franz in Hillsboro. She preceded him in death in 1993.

He also was preceded in death by four brothers, Abe W., Jake W., Ernie W., and Menno W. Peters, and a sister, Minnie Hagen.

Survivors include a son, Virgil F. and Kay Lani Peters of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two daughters, Neoma and Les Flaming and Viola and Ray Lohrentz, all of Hillsboro; a sister, Elsie Penner of Medora; 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Nov. 25 at Hillsboro Mennonite Church of Hillsboro with Pastor Dave Plett presiding.

Burial was at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Cemetery, Hillsboro.

Memorial funds have been established with Hospice Care of Kansas, Door of Hope, or World Impact.
