Marion County Democratic Women met for lunch Oct. 26 at Marion Senior Center.

Sue Clough conducted the business meeting. Marilyn Cox of Peabody accepted the position of vice president.

The group set the cost for the Kansas Day dinner and program at $15. The Jan. 29 evening meal will be followed by a program by Marla Matlin of Hill City.

In place of a November meeting, the group will meet in mid-December for a holiday party. The gift exchange will be with items from thrift shops.
