Democrats hear about governor’s campaign

Marion County Democrats heard April 9 from the state party’s communications director about Governor Laura Kelly’s re-election campaign.

At their meeting at Peabody Township Library, party members also were encouraged to register by June 1 with the county elections office for precinct committeeman and committeewoman positions on the Aug. 2 primary ballot.

The group will meet again May 14 at a location to be determined.
