A free screening for children age 5 or younger will be held May 14 at Hillsboro United Methodist Church. Appointments will be available from 12:30 to 3 p.m.

Development will be checked in areas of learning, motor, language, and social development, and vision and hearing will be screened. The process usually takes at least one hour to complete.

All children are welcome, but an appointment is necessary. Appointments may be made by calling (620) 382-2858.
