Director wants more activity at AGAPE

New AGAPE Senior Center manager Jenny Girard’s goals for the center are to have more activities at the center and more people utilizing its services. However, the center still needs help and volunteers.

At lunch today, women who attended the Senior Fair in Salina will present highlights of the trip. Foot health care will be the topic Thursday. Friday will be arts and crafts.

AGAPE will have a fundraiser breakfast from 7 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, serving biscuits and sausage gravy.

Girard said she is thankful for the Peabody Senior Center cook and staff for continuing to provide meals for AGAPE while the center is without a cook.

To reserve a spot for lunch, call (620) 367-2275 no later than noon the business day before you wish to attend lunch.
