Donna Maltbie

A potluck meal and celebration of life for Donna Annette Maltbie, 77, who died Nov. 18 at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, will be noon Dec. 21 at Marion County Lake Hall.

Friends are being asked to bring a covered dish or dessert.

Born Oct. 20, 1947, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, she married Charles Maltbie, who died Nov. 2, 2021.

Survivors include sons Charles Maltbie II of Hillsboro; Todd Maltbie of Brentwood, California; Brett Maltbie of Overland Park; and James Maltbie of Palm Desert, California; daughter Talitha Maltbie of Mulvane; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sisters Jeri Rowland, Darlene Gross, and Leona Skidmore.

The family has asked that stories or photos be sent to Chuck Maltbie at 410 N. Main St, Hillsboro, KS 67063 so they can be used to make a montage in her honor.
