Doris Ford

No services are planned for retired homemaker and restaurant and school cook Doris Ford, 97, who died Sunday.

Born June 19, 1920, in Marion to Ben and Mary (Ehrlich) Anderson, she was a lifelong Marion resident and member of Valley United Methodist Church.

She married Leslie Ford on Nov. 19, 1946, in Marion. He died in 1990. Brothers Stanley and Dale Anderson also preceded her in death.

Survivors include son Bill of Missouri, daughters Mary and Joyce Ford of Marion, sister Darlene Anderson of San Diego, a granddaughter, and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established with Marion Presbyterian Church for young people to attend church camp.
