Dorothy D. Ratzlaff, 83, Goessel, died Aug. 4, 2008 at Newton Medical Center, Newton.

She was born July 28, 1925, at Somis, Calif. She was a homemaker.

On Oct. 16, 1966, she married A.K. Ratzlaff at Goessel. He preceded her in death.

She also was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Betty Unruh, and a brother, Robert Dodge.

Survivors include two sons, David Sebring of rural Goessel, and Bob Ratzlaff of Wichita; stepson Karl Ratzlaff of Weatherford, Texas; stepdaughter Pat Goering of Wichita; three grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Goessel Mennonite Church, Goessel with Pastor Mike Hiebert presiding.

Private graveside services will take place at a later date.

A memorial fund has been established with Bethesda Home and can be sent in care of Miller Funeral Home, Goessel.
