Nov. 18

5:26 p.m. — Goessel first responders and Hillsboro ambulance responded to Bethesda Home for a woman in her 80s who fell and was complaining of hip pain. She was transported to Newton Medical Center.

nov. 19

6:52 a.m. — Florence ambulance was paged to the 100 block of E. 9th St. for a subject with breathing difficulties. One EMT went to the scene as a first responder. At 6:55 a.m. Peabody ambulance was dispatched and transported the subject to Newton Medical Center.

9:27 a.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to the 800 block of Prairie Lawn Rd. for a man in his 70s with weakness, possibly due to pneumonia. He was transported to Via Christi St. Francis.

9:46 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to Peabody Care Center for a man in his 60s with chest pains. He was transported to Newton Medical Center.

8:07 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 400 block of E. Santa Fe St. for a woman in her 20s having seizures. The woman was transported to St. Luke Hospital.

9:41 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 500 block of W. B St. for a man in his 30s who reportedly ingested a bottle of antidepressants. The man was transported to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

thursday

3:38 a.m. — Tampa ambulance responded to the 100 block of Lincoln St. for an elderly man who was dizzy. The man was transported to Abilene Memorial Hospital.

9:08 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a patient from Hillsboro Community Hospital to Prairie View in Newton.

2:58 p.m. — Peabody ambulance was dispatched to the 500 block of N. Olive St. in response to a Life Alert report of a subject who was unresponsive to multiple medical alarms. EMTs reported contact was made with the patient and no transportation was necessary.

friday

3:19 p.m. — Goessel first responders and Hillsboro ambulance were dispatched to Bethesda Home for a woman in her 80s with abdominal pain. She was transported to Newton Medical Center.

8:15 p.m. — Marion ambulance was paged to provide advanced life support transport of a 2-year-old with a chest wound from St. Luke Hospital to Wesley Medical Center. An EMT advised that Peabody ambulance be paged. Peabody ambulance responded with an EMT and ALS-certified EMT, and an additional ALS-certified EMT from Hillsboro ambulance went to St. Luke by personal vehicle to assist with the transport of the child to Wichita.

9:39 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance provided advanced life support transport of a patient in their 50s with chest pains from St. Luke Hospital to Via Christi St. Joseph.

saturday

3:52 a.m. — Peabody ambulance was alerted to be on standby to respond in the event of an officer request. The ambulance was not dispatched.

12:40 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters responded to a report of fire alarms sounding at Tabor College Townhouses. No fire was discovered, and the alarms were reset.

sunday

5:46 a.m. — Durham firefighters responded to 290th and Goldenrod Rds. for a tree fire.

7:33 a.m. — Florence ambulance transported a man in his 60s experiencing pain from 110th Rd. between Wagonwheel and Xavier Rds. to St. Luke Hospital.

11:51 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 1500 block of E. Lawrence St. for a woman in her 80s who fell and needed assistance getting up. No transportation was necessary.

monday

6:51 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a woman in her 70s complaining of abdominal pain and vomiting from the 800 block of W. A St. to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

10:15 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 800 block of N. Elm St. in Peabody for a man in his 80s with confusion and swollen feet. He was transported to Newton Medical Center.

4:20 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was dispatched at the request of an officer to 260th Rd. between Nighthawk and Mustang Rds. to check an individual involved in a non-injury accident. No transportation was provided.
