According to fire and ambulance transmissions, monitored by the newspaper:

dec. 9

5:34 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a woman who passed out from the 400 block of S. Date St. to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

6:09 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a patient with flu symptoms from Parkside Homes to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

dec. 10

8:11 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a man with leg pain resulting from a fall from Parkside Homes to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

7:58 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a man in his 50s reported as having “extreme confusion” from 210th St. between Chisholm Trail and Diamond Rds. to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

8:53 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transported a woman with diarrhea from Peabody Care Center to Newton Medical Center.

Thursday

12:49 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 200 block of N. 4th St. for an elderly man with dementia. The man refused transportation.

friday

10:13 p.m. — Peabody ambulance provided advanced life support transportation of a patient from Hillsboro Community Hospital to Wesley Medical Center.

10:57 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was dispatched to the 200 block of W. 3rd St. a teenage man with seizures. Transportation was refused, as an EMT reported the seizure had subsided.

saturday

1:04 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported a woman in her 60s who fell and hit her head from Peabody Care Center to Newton Medical Center.

4:04 p.m. — Marion ambulance, Marion firefighters, and Hillsboro ambulance responded to a two-car accident on K-150 east of Alfalfa Rd. Two patients were transported to St. Luke Hospital, one complaining of neck and back pain, and the condition of the second patient was not specified.

sunday

8:56 a.m. — Marion firefighters responded to a gasoline spill from a disabled vehicle at Eisenhower and Main Sts.

11:54 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a woman who fell from the 400 block of W. Grand St. to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

5:23 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported a man reporting delusions from the 2000 block of N. Schlotthauer St. to St. Luke Hospital.

9:53 p.m. — Florence ambulance transported a man with back pain from the 200 block of W. 8th St. to St. Luke Hospital.

monday

3:34 a.m. — Peabody ambulance responded without sirens to the 400 block of Elm St. for an elderly man who was not breathing. No additional EMS transmissions were recorded after the ambulance arrived at the scene.
