Sept. 13

7:39 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to Bethesda Homes in Goessel for a woman complaining of hip and back pain. She was transported to Newton Medical Center.

11:20 a.m. — Marion ambulance transported a man reportedly having a heart attack from the 200 block of Walnut St. to St. Luke Hospital. Marion fire provided lifting assistance.

SEpt. 14

4:01 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 300 block of N. Freeborn St. for a woman having difficulty breathing and tingling in her arm. She was transported to St. Luke.

6:06 p.m. — Marion ambulance performed a cardiac transfer to Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita.

Thursday

3:54 a.m. — Florence ambulance responded to the 400 block of Vista Rd. in Burns for a woman having a possible stroke. No transportation was provided.

11:29 a.m. — Hillsboro fire responded to Tabor College for a smoke alarm going off in the townhouses.

12:12 p.m. — Marion ambulance performed a basic-life-support transfer from St. Luke to Newton Medical.

12:52 p.m. — Hillsboro fire responded to Tabor College for another smoke alarm going off in the same townhouse.

2:21 p.m. — Lincolnville fire and Marion fire responded to multiple reports of ditch fires on US-77 between 260th and 140th Rds.

4:41 p.m. — A sheriff’s deputy reported he was on his way to a near head-on collision on US-56 near Limestone Rd. Hillsboro fire, rescue, ambulance, and Marion ambulance responded, and one person was taken to St. Luke, and a second was taken to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

8:16 p.m. — Peabody ambulance reported they were en route to an unspecified location for an unspecified reason. They transported a person to Newton Medical.

friday

4:45 p.m. — Marion first response and Hillsboro ambulance were called to the 1500 block of E. Main St. in Marion for a woman on the floor needing assistance getting back up. Hillsboro was told to disregard, and no transportation was provided.

6:38 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a patient from HCH to Via Christi in Wichita.

8 p.m. — Marion ambulance was requested to go to Tabor College football field. Hillsboro fire was paged for spinal immobilization assistance. A person was transported to HCH.

SATURDAY

10:59 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 200 block of Willow Rd. for a person who fell. She was transported to HCH.

11:26 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to Main and A Sts. during the Arts and Crafts fair in Hillsboro for a man in his 50s experiencing multiple fainting episodes. He was transported to HCH.

12:29 p.m. — Tampa ambulance transferred a patient from HCH to Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.

6:05 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the front of Bluejay Bowling Lanes on Main St. for a man having a seizure. No transportation was provided.

SUNDAY

6:10 p.m. — Marion ambulance and Hillsboro fire as first response were called to the 300 block of E. Grand St. in Hillsboro for an infant who was reported as “not breathing right.” They were then dismissed after the reporting person said they were taking the infant into the E.R. by personal vehicle.

monday

7:15 a.m. — Peabody ambulance transported a person believed to have had a stroke from the 300 block of E. 2nd St. to Newton Medical.

10:42 a.m. — Burns first response responded to the 100 block of S. Nickerson St. for a man not feeling well. No transportation was provided.

12:52 p.m. — Tampa ambulance performed a basic-life-support transfer from St. Luke to Via Christi — St. Francis.

4:18 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 400 block of Ash St. for a woman with low oxygen and blood pressure. No transportation was provided.

9:04 p.m. — Hillsboro first response, Hillsboro fire, and Tampa ambulance responded to the 500 block of S. Lincoln St. in Hillsboro for a woman gasping for air. She was transported to an unspecified hospital as code blue, meaning with no pulse or respiration.
