April 11

11:06 a.m. — A woman in her 70s with dry mouth and chest pains was transported by Peabody ambulance from the 800 block of Prairie Lawn St. in Peabody to Newton Medical Center.

4:18 p.m. — A man in his 70s who was not feeling well was transported by Tampa ambulance from the 600 block of Santa Fe Rd. in Durham to Hillsboro Community Hospital. Durham first response also responded.

7:22 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance, Hillsboro rescue, and Hillsboro fire responded to a report of a one vehicle roll-over accident near the old water tower. A person was transported to HCH.

9:27 p.m. — A person was transported by Hillsboro ambulance from HCH to Wesley Medical Center.

April 12

2:54 p.m. — Marion ambulance performed an advanced-life-support transfer from St. Luke Hospital to Wesley Medical Center.

8:13 p.m. — Hillsboro fire was dispatched to check out a fire detector going off at an apartment in the 500 block of W. Grand St. No fire was reported.

9:08 p.m. — Two teenagers were transported to HCH after a rollover accident happened on Chisholm Trail Rd. north of Tabor Mennonite Church. Hillsboro ambulance, Goessel first response and Goessel fire responded initially, and Marion ambulance was called after Hillsboro requested a second ambulance.

THURSDAY

12:36 a.m. — An older gentleman who believed he popped his back and couldn’t breathe was transported by Hillsboro ambulance from 140th Rd. between K-15 and Indigo Rd. to HCH.

6:09 p.m. — Marion ambulance performed an advanced-life-support transfer from HCH to Wesley Medical Center.

9:40 p.m. — Florence ambulance was sent to US-50 west of Florence for a car vs. deer accident where an airbag had deployed. No transportation was provided.

FRIDAY

12:09 a.m. — Hillsboro fire, Hillsboro ambulance, Goessel fire, and Durham fire responded to 240th Rd. between K-15 and Indigo Rd. for a house on fire. Hillsboro fire chief Ben Steketee told dispatchers at 4:27 a.m. that the fire was out and he would be releasing units from the scene.

11:26 a.m. — A person who had fallen in the 400 block of S. Freeborn St. was transported by Marion ambulance to St. Luke.

2:34 p.m. — Hillsboro fire, Peabody fire, Marion fire, and Hillsboro ambulance were called to a garage fire at Grand and Cedar Sts. Hillsboro fire told dispatchers at 2:38 p.m. that it was a “contents fire” and was mostly out, so everyone but Hillsboro was released from the scene.

10:05 p.m. — A woman in her 70s who was not feeling well was transported by Marion ambulance from the 100 block of N. Freeborn St. to St. Luke.

11:50 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was told to meet at a Hillsboro helipad for a transport to Wichita.

SATURDAY

9:05 a.m. — Hillsboro fire was called to a non-injury accident involving a semi east of US-56 east of Jade Rd.

5:04 p.m. — A woman in her 30s having back spasms was transported by Marion ambulance 160th Rd. between Indigo and Jade Rds. to HCH. Hillsboro fire was called for lifting assistance.

5:55 p.m. — A man in his 60s having chest pains was transported by Peabody ambulance from Peabody Health and Rehab to Newton Medical.

7:09 p.m. — A person who was not responsive was transported by Florence ambulance from Peabody Health and Rehab to Newton Medical.

9:03 p.m. — Peabody fire responded to a fire by the grade school on Spruce St. The fire was reported as out at 9:17 p.m.

SUNDAY

No calls were recorded.

monday

10:28 a.m. — Marion ambulance performed a basic-life-support transfer from St. Luke to Via Christi — St. Francis.

2:51 p.m. — A woman pressed a medical alert button in the 300 block of W. 11th St. Florence ambulance was called to the scene but no transportation was provided.

4:58 p.m. — Marion ambulance performed a basic-life-support transfer from St. Luke to McPherson Hospital.
