april 30

8:21 a.m. — An elderly man having difficulty breathing at Keith’s Grocery Store in Goessel, was taken to Newton Medical Center by Hillsboro ambulance.

11:17 a.m. — An 80-year-old man with low blood pressure in the 600 block of Santa Fe St., Durham, was taken to Hillsboro Community Hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

1:58 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke Hospital in Marion was taken by Marion ambulance to Newton Medical Center.

3:12 p.m. — Marion, Hillsboro, and Florence firefighters and Hillsboro ambulance responded to a possible furnace fire in the 1000 block of E. Lawrence St., Marion. No fire was found.

3:50 p.m. — A patient from HCH was taken by Hillsboro ambulance to Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita.

11:26 p.m. — Marion and Hillsboro ambulance and Peabody rescue and firefighters were called to one-vehicle rollover accident near 80th and Holly Rds. One patient was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance, a second patient was taken to Wesley Medical Center by Peabody ambulance. Two others involved in the crash refused to be taken to a hospital.

May 1

10:55 a.m. — A woman having extreme back pain in the 300 block of W. D St., Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

11:22 a.m. — A elderly man with a leaking colostomy bag in the 300 block of Willow Rd, Hillsboro, he refused to be taken to a hospital by an ambulance.

12:01 p.m. — An 90-year-old woman fell at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro and was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

12:50 p.m. — A patient from HCH was taken by Hillsboro ambulance to NMC.

1:15 p.m. — Peabody ambulance was called to the 300 block of N. Vine St. in Peabody, for a smoke detector going off in a house with no one at home. No fire or smoke was found.

6:19 p.m. — A patient from HCH was taken by Hillsboro ambulance to St. Francis in Wichita.

3:13 a.m. — A suicide was reported in the 300 block of N. Locust St., Peabody.

6:08 a.m. — An elderly woman with low blood sugar levels near 20th and Nighthawk Rds., was taken to NMC by Peabody ambulance.

9:56 a.m. — A student at the performing arts center in Marion had fallen and hit his head and was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

2:16 p.m. — A resident from Westview Manor in Peabody was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

3:59 p.m. — A 20-year-old woman was found lying in the middle of the street in the 200 block of W. 10th St., Florence, was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

5:51 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was taken by Marion ambulance to NMC.

friday

11:02 a.m. — A 76-year-old woman was lethargic with a high temperature in the 300 block of N. Freeborn St., Marion. She was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

3:50 p.m. — A 98-year-old woman had fallen at Bethesda Home in Goessel and was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

10:48 p.m. — A 91-year-old man fell in the 400 block of Marion St., Goessel. He refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

saturday

11:20 a.m. — An elderly man near 240th and Pawnee Rds., with labored breathing and jumbled speech, was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

12:40 p.m. — An elderly man that was not acting normal near 20th and Yarrow Rds., was taken to NMC by Florence ambulance.

1:15 p.m. — Marion firefighters were called to the 10th block of Valley Rd. in Marion.

sunday

10:30 a.m. — A 95-year-old woman with difficulty breathing at Bethesda Home in Goessel, was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

12:03 p.m. — A 9-month-old boy fell in the 700 block of N. Chestnut St., Peabody. The parents refused to have him taken to a hospital by Peabody ambulance.

1:40 p.m. — A 76-year-old woman having difficulty breathing at Salem Home in Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

2:38 p.m. — A 42-year-old man having a possible heart attack near 141st and Pawnee Rds., was taken to NMC by Marion ambulance.

7:56 p.m. — Law officer requested to have Peabody firefighters stage at 60th and Limestone Rds., and 30th and Old Mill Rds. for weather watch.

monday

1:00 a.m. — Lincolnville firefighters were called to tree piles that were burned and had rekindled near 280th and Sunflower Rds.

5:21 a.m. — A 51-year-old woman with a high temperature in the 100 block of S. Buller St., Goessel, was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

9:33 a.m. — A 30-year-old employee coming in and out of consciousness at Bethesda Home in Goessel, was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

12:07 p.m. — A resident that was choking and unresponsive at Bethesda Home in Goessel, was taken to NMC by Hillsboro.

12:14 p.m. — Durham, Hillsboro, Lincolnville, and Tampa firefighters and Tampa ambulance responded to a structure fire near 260th and Limestone Rds.

2:29 p.m. — A person lying on the ground outside of Oakwood Apartments in Hillsboro, refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

4:28 p.m. — A patient from HCH was taken by Hillsboro ambulance to Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita.

4:52 p.m. — A young woman having a seizure in the 300 block of N. Ash St., Hillsboro was taken to HCH by Marion ambulance.
