May 7

1:21 a.m. — A woman was unresponsive in the 100 block of W. 5th St., Florence. She was taken to Newton Medical Center by Florence ambulance.

9:43 a.m. — A woman fell out of her wheelchair in the 800 block Barker St., Florence. She refused to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance.

7:52 p.m. — A 21-year-old driver having a possible heart attack on US-77 near 240th Rd., refused to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance.

10:43 p.m. — A 74-year-old woman had just returned home from the hospital in the 100 block of W. 7th St., Florence. She refused to be taken to a hospital by Florence ambulance.

5:02 a.m. — Peabody ambulance were called to the EMS barn to move equipment to higher ground because of the flooding.

5:52 a.m. — Hillsboro rescue and Tampa ambulance were called to a vehicle trapped in rising water near 330th and Limestone Rds. No one was taken to a hospital by Tampa ambulance.

8:34 a.m. — Hillsboro firefighters were called to the 300 block of Prairie Point in Hillsboro for a smoke alarm. No smoke or fire was found.

9:59 a.m. — Hillsboro and Marion rescue and firefighters were called to a water rescue near 180th and Nighthawk Rds. Water was to the bottom of the car door. No one was injured.

11:08 a.m. — An 80-year-old woman fell out of a chair in the 1500 block of E. Main St., Marion, and was taken to St. Luke Hospital by Marion ambulance. Marion firefighters were called to help assist.

3:01 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance, firefighters and rescue were called to collision of a semi-truck and a FedEx truck near US-56 and Orchard Dr. by Hillsboro. No one was taken to a hospital.

6:45 p.m. — Ramona firefighters were called by resident that smelled smoke near Nighthawk and 320th Rds., but no flames or smoke were visible.

8:01 p.m. — A 75-year-old woman fainted in the 100 block of W. 4th St., Florence, and was taken to St. Luke by Florence ambulance.

12:01 p.m. — A 66-year-old man fell in the 400 block of Spruce St., Peabody. He refused to be taken to a hospital by Peabody ambulance.

friday

11:49 a.m. — A patient from Hillsboro Community Hospital was taken by Hillsboro ambulance to Wesley Medical Center.

1:05 p.m. — An alarm company requested a welfare check on an elderly woman in the 800 block of Barker St., Florence. She refused to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance.

4:11 p.m. — Marion ambulance was called to 280th Rd and US-77 when a car hit a deer, no one was taken to a hospital.

5:05 p.m. — A woman was sick at Westview Manor in Peabody, and was taken to St. Luke by Peabody ambulance.

5:11 p.m. — An alarm company reported a smoke alarm near 300th and Bluestem Rds., the call was canceled, there was no smoke or flames reported by the homeowner.

9:26 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was taken by Marion ambulance to St. Francis in Wichita.

saturday

12:32 p.m. — A 50-year-old woman with an unknown medical emergency in the 100 block of A Rd., Goessel, was taken to Newton Medical Center by Hillsboro ambulance. Goessel first responders and Marion ambulance also responded.

8:08 p.m. — A patient from HCH was taken by Hillsboro ambulance to St. Joseph in Wichita.

sunday

11:14 a.m. — A patient from HCH was taken by Hillsboro ambulance to Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita.

6:34 p.m. — An unresponsive woman near 360th and Limestone Rds., was taken to Herington Hospital by Tampa ambulance.

6:46 p.m. — A 22-year-old man having a seizure in the 300 block of W. 3rd St., Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

monday

5:48 a.m. — Marion ambulance, Marion rescue, Lincolnville and Marion firefighters and Lincolnville first response were called to a one-vehicle accident near 270th Rd. and US-77. One person was taken to St. Francis in Wichita by Marion ambulance.

8:22 a.m. — A 10-year-old boy was stricken with stomach pains and dizziness in the 900 block of E. D St., Hillsboro. He refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

9:02 a.m. — A 69-year-old man fell in the 100 block of S. Floral Dr., Hillsboro; he was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

4:09 p.m. — A 18-year-old man having a seizure at Wendy’s in Hillsboro was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.
