Oct 8

4:58 a.m. — A 69-year-old man who had low blood sugar near 120th Rd. and K-15, refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

9:01 p.m. — A Goessel first responder requested Hillsboro ambulance to respond near Falcon and 140th Rds. for a lift assist for a man who slid out of his wheelchair.

wednesday

3:07 a.m. — A young man who mistook his mother’s medication for ibuprofen in the 100 block of S. Ash St., Hillsboro, was taken to Newton Medical Center by Hillsboro ambulance.

6:08 a.m. — A boy who fell and was sweaty and not breathing in the 300 block of W. B St., Hillsboro, was taken to Hillsboro Community Hospital by Hillsboro ambulance. Hillsboro firefighters were paged out by Hillsboro ambulance and Marion ambulance responded.

7:10 a.m. — A 74-year-old man who fell in the 600 block of N. Elm St., Peabody, was helped up and refused to be taken to a hospital by Peabody ambulance.

8:06 a.m. — A 91-year-old woman from Parkside Homes in Hillsboro was taken to St. Luke Hospital by Hillsboro ambulance by her doctor’s request.

11:07 a.m. — A 74-year-old man who fell in the 600 block of N. Elm St., Peabody, was taken to Newton Medical Center by Peabody ambulance.

1:03 p.m. — A 73-year-old woman who was lethargic at Peabody Health and Rehab, was taken to Newton Medical Center by Peabody ambulance.

1:24 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to Newton Medical Center by Marion ambulance.

7:35 p.m. — Florence and Marion firefighters and rescue and Marion, Hillsboro and Florence ambulances were called to a two-vehicle accident near 110th and US-50. One patient was taken to St. Luke by Florence ambulance, another was taken to St. Francis in Wichita by Marion ambulance. The third was deceased.

Thursday

There were no dispatches recorded between 3:14 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.

4:42 p.m. — An elderly man who was not feeling well in the 600 block of W. 5th St., Peabody, refused to be taken to a hospital by Peabody ambulance.

9:31 p.m. — A 73-year-old woman who had fallen four times within an hour in the 400 block of N. Locus St., Peabody, was taken to Newton Medical Center by Peabody ambulance.

friday

1:21 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters were called to Tabor College for a fire alarm sounding in the men’s housing. No fire or smoke was found and the alarms were reset.

8:57 a.m. — A woman who fell in the 800 block of Barker St., Florence, refused to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance.

3:32 p.m. — Hillsboro and Marion ambulances, Goessel first responders, Goessel firefighters, and Goessel and Peabody rescue, were called to a two-vehicle injury accident near 140th Rd and Highway K-15. One patient was taken to St. Francis in Wichita by Hillsboro ambulance and one patient refused to be taken to a hospital.

7 p.m. — A man who with leg pain near 160th Rd. and K-15, was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

7:37 p.m. — Lincolnville first responders were called to Centre High School for a football stand-by for Tampa ambulance, who took one person to Herington Hospital.

10:18 p.m. — A 87-year-old man complaining of chest pains at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

saturday

1:23 a.m. — A 56-year-old man who slipped out of bed in the 1500 block of E. Lawrence St., Marion. He was helped up and refused to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance.

11:18 a.m. — A 56-year-old man who needed assistance getting in his chair in the 1500 block of E. Lawrence St., Marion, was helped by Marion ambulance.

10:38 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita by Marion ambulance.

sunday

6:37 a.m. — A resident from Peabody Health and Rehab was transferred to NMC by Peabody ambulance.

7:51 p.m. — An 83-year-old man who was not feeling well near 160th Rd. and K-15, was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

monday

1:16 a.m. — A elderly resident who was not feeling well at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro, was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

4:19 a.m. — A 64-year-old woman who was having head pain and unable to walk near 300th Rd. and K-15, was taken to HCH by Tampa ambulance.

8:11 a.m. — A 81-year-old man who was having difficulty breathing in the 800 block of N. Vine St., Peabody, was taken to NMC by Peabody ambulance.

11:11 a.m. — A 91-year-old man who passed out a few times at Bethesda Home in Goessel, was taken to St. Francis in Wichita by Hillsboro ambulance.

11:46 a.m. — A 83-year-old woman who was having an irregular heart beat in the 600 block of Chestnut St., Peabody, was taken to NMC by Marion ambulance. Peabody ambulance was also on scene.

1:55 p.m. — Florence firefighters were called to a cornfield on fire near Wagonwheel and 110th Rds. Marion firefighters were called for mutual aide.

2:58 p.m. — A 99-year-old woman with a possible broken leg at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro, was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

4:36 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to NMC by Marion ambulance.

7:31 p.m. — A patient from NMC was transferred to Parkside Homes by Hillsboro ambulance.
