Oct. 29

1:35 p.m. — A patient from Hillsboro Community Hospital was transferred to Newton Medical Center by Hillsboro ambulance.

2:42 p.m. — Marion firefighters, rescue, and ambulance were called to a rollover accident near K-256 and US-77. Two people refused to be taken to a hospital and one person was taken to St. Luke Hospital by Marion ambulance.

There were no dispatches recorded between 6 and 10 a.m.

10:56 a.m. — A 79-year-old woman who was feeling dizzy at Salem Home Apartments in Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

12:47 p.m. — A person who fell off a grain bin near 130th and Holly Rds, was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita by Hillsboro ambulance. Hillsboro rescue also was on scene.

3:49 p.m. — A man who was having difficulty breathing in the 700 block of S. Freeborn St., Marion, was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance. Hillsboro ambulance also was on the scene for lifting assistance.

5:26 p.m. — A resident who was complaining of chest pains at Westview Manor in Peabody was taken to Newton Medical Center by Peabody ambulance.

thursday

11:13 a.m. — A woman who hit her head in a fall at Westview Manor in Peabody was taken to St. Luke by Peabody ambulance.

11:22 a.m. — A 67-year-old man who needed help to get up in the 300 block of S. Ash St., Hillsboro, refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance. Hillsboro firefighters were paged for lifting assistance.

3:36 p.m. — A patient from HCH was transferred to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita by Hillsboro ambulance.

5:16 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters were called to a fire alarm in the 300 block of S. Kennedy St. Hillsboro. No fire was found.

6:05 p.m. — A 36-year-old woman with chest pains in the 100 block of N. Washington St., Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

11:09 p.m. — Hillsboro Community Hospital requested Hillsboro ambulance and Hillsboro firefighters for assistance with compression of a patient.

friday

8:34 a.m. — An elderly woman who was having a seizure in the 300 block of N. Main St., Hillsboro, refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

4:55 p.m. — Goessel firefighters were called to a grass fire near 80th Rd. and K-15. They returned to the station at 5:54 p.m.

8:08 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita by Marion ambulance.

11:32 p.m. — An 84-year-old woman with high blood pressure in the 400 block of N. Spruce St., Peabody, was taken to St. Luke by Peabody ambulance.

11:58 p.m. — A medical alarm was activated near Union Rd. and US-50, but no one was taken to a hospital by Peabody ambulance.

saturday

4:42 a.m. — A man with back pain at Westview Manor in Peabody was taken to NMC by Peabody ambulance.

5:01 a.m. — An 89-year-old man activated his medical alarm in the 200 block of N. Freeborn St., Marion. He was helped up but refused to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance.

2:04 p.m. — Durham and Tampa firefighters were called to a pasture fire started by a vehicle near 280th and Goldenrod Rds. Lincolnville. Hillsboro firefighters were called for mutual aid.

2:10 p.m. — Requested by a police officer and family, a person with health issues in the 700 block of W. Grand St., Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

2:54 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to Wesley in Wichita by Peabody ambulance.

7:40 p.m. — A 40-year-old man who fell in the 700 block of W. 3rd St., Peabody, refused to be taken to a hospital by Peabody ambulance.

sunday

12:11 a.m. — Durham firefighters were called to grass fire near Goldenrod and 270th. There was no fire found and firefighters returned to their station.

3:11 p.m. — Marion firefighters were called to a grass fire at the city tree dump.

4:13 p.m. — A patient from HCH was transferred to Wesley in Wichita by Hillsboro ambulance.

8:32 p.m. — Peabody firefighters were called to a grass fire near 20th and Remington Rds.

monday

5:05 p.m. — A woman, who was unresponsive at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro, was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

5:21 p.m. — A 58-year-old woman with back pain in the 500 block of N. Cedar St., Marion, was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.
