April 21

4:10 a.m. — Marion ambulance did a blood draw at the request of a sheriff’s officer.

8:05 a.m. — A 70-year-old woman who was weak and unable to stand up near 230th and Kanza Rds. was helped up and refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

9:47 a.m. — A man from Salem Home, Hillsboro, was transferred to Hillsboro Community Hospital by Hillsboro ambulance on doctor’s orders.

10:11 a.m. — A 70-year-old woman who was helped up by Hillsboro ambulance earlier in the morning, near 230th and Kanza Rds., was taken to Newton Medical Center by Marion ambulance.

3:45 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke Hospital was transferred to Newton Medical Center by Marion ambulance.

4:07 p.m. — Ramona firefighters were called for mutual aid at a grass fire in Dickinson County.

wednesday

9:02 a.m. — A 63-year-old woman who fell out of her wheelchair near Vista and 40th Rds. was helped up and refused to be taken to a hospital by Peabody ambulance.

4:41 p.m. — A patient from HCH was transferred to Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita, by Hillsboro ambulance.

thursday

9:41 a.m. — An 86-year-old man who fell near 140th and Kanza Rds. was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

6:01 p.m. — A 72-year-old woman who fell near Limestone and 360th Rds. was helped up and refused to be taken to a hospital by Tampa ambulance.

6:14 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to NMC by Marion ambulance.

10:46 p.m. — An 85-year-old man who was having chest pains in the 1500 block of E. Lawrence St., Marion, was taken to NMC by Marion ambulance.

10:57 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

friday

2:02 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to NMC by Marion ambulance.

8:02 p.m. — Marion firefighters were called to a carport on fire near 190th and Pawnee Rds.

saturday

11:10 a.m. — Hillsboro firefighters were called to a kitchen smoke alarm in the 200 block of N. Main St., Hillsboro. No fire was found.

4:52 p.m. — A patient from HCH was transferred to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

6:50 p.m. — A 68-year-old woman in the 100 block of Floral Dr., Hillsboro, with stroke-like symptoms, was taken to Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, by Hillsboro ambulance. Marion ambulance also responded to the scene.

sunday

12:35 p.m. — Officer requested Peabody ambulance to respond to the 400 block of Sycamore St., Peabody. No one was taken to a hospital.

monday

10:21 a.m. — An 80-year-old man who was not feeling well in the 600 block of Santa Fe St., Durham, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance. A Durham first responder was also on scene.

12:31 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to St. Francis, Wichita, by Marion ambulance.
