May 5

12:13 p.m. — A man who went limp in his car in the 100 block of N. Olive St., Peabody, was not taken to a hospital by Peabody ambulance, he was deceased. Marion ambulance and Peabody firefighters were also on scene.

12:54 p.m. — A 23-year-old man who fell on a glass statue in the 300 block of W. 3rd St., Hillsboro, refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

1:53 p.m. — A 72-year-old woman having difficulty breathing at Salem Home, refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

6:46 p.m. — A woman who fell in the 200 block of E. 4th St., Florence, was taken to St. Luke Hospital by Marion ambulance. A Florence first responder was also on scene.

10:32 p.m. — A 20-year-old woman with severe abdominal pain in the 300 block of S. Washington St., Hillsboro, was taken to Hillsboro Community Hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

wednesday

10:01 a.m. — A 2-month-old baby who was having difficulty breathing near 320th and Chisholm Trail Rds. was taken to Newton Medical Center by Hillsboro ambulance. Tampa ambulance was also on scene.

4:48 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to Newton Medical Center by Marion ambulance.

4:58 p.m. — An 88-year-old man who fell in the 400 block of W. 1st St., Hillsboro, was helped up and refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

7:18 p.m. — Lincolnville firefighters were called to a tractor on fire near 280th and Bluestem Rds.

8:11 p.m. — A man who requested an ambulance in the 100 block of W. 7th St., Florence, was taken to St. Luke by Peabody ambulance.

thursday

5:14 a.m. — Marion ambulance helped with a lift assist at Marion Assisted Living. No one was taken to a hospital.

5:35 a.m. — 2331 A 76-year-old man having symptoms of a stroke near Pawnee and 230th Rds., was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

6:52 a.m. — A man with an unknown problem in the 400 block of S. 4th St., Marion, was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

3:41 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters were called to the 100 block of Santa Fe St., Hillsboro for an utility pole that was struck by lightning.

friday

4:21 p.m. — An elderly woman who fell in the 1 block of Park Ave., Hillsboro, was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

6:36 p.m. — An 80-year-old woman having symptoms of a stroke near US-50 and Doyle St. was taken to Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, by Marion ambulance. Florence firefighters also responded to the call.

9:46 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to Wesley Medical Center by Marion ambulance.

saturday

12:40 p.m. — Marion and Florence ambulances were called to a one-vehicle accident near US-77 and 20th Rd. No one was taken to a hospital.

11:05 a.m. — Marion firefighters were called for a grain truck on fire near Old Mill and 190th Rds. Hillsboro firefighters were called for mutual aid.

2:14 p.m. — A patient from HCH was transferred to Wesley Medical Center by Hillsboro ambulance.

sunday

8:41 a.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to Wesley Medical Center by Marion ambulance.

4:05 p.m. — A 59-year-old man who was having difficulty breathing near 200th and Nighthawk Rds., was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance. Hillsboro firefighters were called for lift assist.

6:06 p.m. — Marion firefighters were called to a large grass fire near 210th and Zebulon Rds. This was a controlled burn and the firefighters returned to the station.

6:43 p.m. — A patient from HCH was transferred to St. Francis, Wichita, by Hillsboro ambulance.

9:31 p.m. — A man found sitting in the ditch near 170th and K-15 refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

monday

9:20 a.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to St. Francis, Wichita, by Marion ambulance.

12:20 p.m. — Two 90-year-olds both felt ill near Eagle and 70th Rds. One was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance, and the other refused to be taken by Peabody ambulance. Goessel firefighters were also on scene.

12:30 p.m. — An 85-year-old woman who fell in the 200 block of Briarwood, Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Marion ambulance. Hillsboro firefighters were called for lift assist.

4:05 p.m. — A patient from HCH was transferred to Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita, by Hillsboro ambulance.
