jan. 3

12:32 a.m. — Peabody Ambulance responded to a male in his fifties with knee pains in the 700 block of Elm Street Transportation was not required.

3:25 a.m. — A female with abdominal pains at Hillsboro Community Hospital was transported by Hillsboro Ambulance to Newton Medical Center.

7:01 a.m. — Peabody Ambulance was dispatched to respond to a report of an elderly female in respiratory arrest in the 100 block of Poplar Street The call was terminated at 7:04 a.m. when the person needing assistance was identified as being in Lost Springs, not Peabody.

7:05 a.m. — Lincolnville first responders and Tampa Ambulance were dispatched to the 100 block of Poplar Street in Lost Springs for an elderly female in respiratory arrest. At 7:15 a.m., an additional page for Lincolnville and Ramona first responders was issued. At 7:19 Lost Springs Fire Department was requested to respond to provide lifting assistance. Patient was transported to Herington Municipal Hospital.

4:00 p.m. — An individual in their sixties who fell and hit their head at Peabody Care Center was transported by Peabody Ambulance to Newton Medical Center.

9:27 p.m. — Hillsboro Fire Department responded to a request to inspect a Halstead school bus following a fire six miles south of Hillsboro on Indigo Road. No injuries were reported, and a second activity bus transported the passengers back to Halstead.

wednesday

9:48 p.m. — Burns Fire Department responded to an individual experiencing breathing difficulties in the 14600 block of NW Hopkins Road in Butler County.

thursday

9:43 a.m. — A female in her sixties experiencing seizures at Westview Manor was transported by Peabody Ambulance to St. Luke Hospital.

9:48 a.m. — A female experiencing shortness of breath at Peabody Care Center was transported by Marion Ambulance to Newton Medical Center.

4:40 p.m. — A male in his teens, experiencing possible heat stroke while walking on K-15 two miles south of the Dickinson County line, was transported by Tampa Ambulance to Abilene Memorial Hospital.

5:38 p.m. — Hillsboro Fire Department and Hillsboro Ambulance responded to a fire alarm on Park Avenue. The alarm was determined to have been set off by smoke from possible burned food. The house was examined with the thermal camera, ventilated, and alarm reset.

8:29 p.m. — Florence Ambulance was dispatched to respond to a female with a possible broken ankle in the 700 block of Main Street. Florence Ambulance advised dispatcher to page a second ambulance, as a full crew was not available.

8:31 p.m. — A female with a possible broken ankle in the 700 block of Main Street, Florence, was transported by Marion Ambulance to St. Luke Hospital.

9:03 p.m. — Marion Fire Department requested to provide lifting assistance at St. Luke Hospital.

friday

5:45 p.m. — Peabody Fire Department responded to an alley in 300 block of North Maple Street to extinguish a leaf fire.

8:04 p.m. —Tampa Ambulance and Ramona Fire Department responded to a male in his nineties who fell in the 300 block of B Street in Ramona. The male was transported to Herington Municipal Hospital.

9:27 p.m. — A male in his eighties with a toe injury at Peabody Care Center was transported by Peabody Ambulance to Newton Medical Center.

saturday

11:16 a.m. — Marion Ambulance responded to a report of a female in her sixties who fell in the 200 block of North First Street. No transportation was required.

12:54 p.m. — Hillsboro Ambulance provided non-emergency transport of a patient from Hillsboro Community Hospital to Newton Medical Center.

10:57 p.m. — Marion Fire Department, Marion Rescue, Marion Ambulances 1 and 2, and Florence Ambulance responded to a vehicle rollover into a water-filled culvert in the 1600 block of Turkey Creek Road. Five passengers in the vehicle were transported to St. Luke Hospital for examination.

sunday

3:32 p.m. — Peabody Fire Department and Peabody Ambulance responded to Mustang Road and 20th Road for a silo fire.

7:11 p.m. — Hillsboro Fire Department and Hillsboro Ambulance responded to Kansas Hall at Tabor College for a possible dryer fire. Upon inspection, no fire was discovered.

7:14 p.m. — Florence Fire Department responded to a chimney fire in the 800 block of Main Street Marion Fire Department requested to respond to the scene with thermal camera at 7:28 p.m.

monday

12:10 a.m. — Marion Ambulance responded to the county transfer station for a male who put his hand through a glass window. No transportation was required.

4:55 p.m. — Peabody Ambulance provided advanced cardiac life support transport of a patient at Hillsboro Community Hospital to Wesley Medical Center.
