Couple announces
engagement

Rebecca Lee Soyez and Scott Lee Peterson of Marion announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

Wayne and Linda Friesen of Hillsboro, Carl Peterson of Council Grove, and Bonnie Peterson of Hico, Texas, are their parents.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Hillsboro High School and is employed by USD 408 as a teacher’s aide.

Her fiancé graduated from Marion High School and is a rancher.

The couple plan to be married June 11 in Hillsboro.
