Ennis Unruh

Ennis E. Unruh, 87, of Hillsboro, died March 3, 2009, at Bethesda Home of Goessel.

He was a rural mail carrier.

Born Feb. 3, 1922, at Goessel, he was the son of Albert and Katie (Schroeder) Unruh.

On Nov. 3, 1946, he married Dayle Klassen at Hillsboro. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, David R. Unruh of Los Angeles, Calif.; a daughter, Nancy Klaassen of Hillsboro; a brother, Richard Unruh of Inman; a sister, Lillian Voth of Hesston; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services were Monday afternoon at First Mennonite Church of Hillsboro with Pastor Randy Smith officiating.

Burial preceded the service at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Cemetery, Hillsboro.

Memorial funds have been established with Bethesda Home Special Care Unit and American Legion Scholarship Fund Post 366.
