Esther Klein, 92, died May 24, at Salem Home in Hillsboro.

She was born on January 19, 1921 to George and Hulda (Bentz) Ottensmeier of Tampa.  She married Lawrence Harry Klein on August 9, 1945 in Tampa.

Survivors include: son, Bob (LaDonna) Klein of Durham; daughter, Shirley (Steve) Fiffe of Hutchinson; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1999.  

A celebration of life service will be 10 a.m. May 28 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Tampa, officiated by the Rev. Clark M. Davis.  Visitation with family present from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday at Jost Funeral Home.
