Flu shots, lab tests available Nov. 6

The county health fair will be 8 to 11 a.m. Nov. 6 at the USD 408 Sports and Aquatic Center, 104 N. Thorp St., Marion this year.
Laboratory tests will be available from both St. Luke Hospital and Hillsboro Community Hospital.
The price is $25 for a combination of comprehensive metabolic panel, lipid panel, complete blood count with differential, and thyroid stimulating hormone.
Prostate specific antigen for men 40 and older and hemoglobin A1C tests will be available for an extra $10.
The health department will give flu shots including regular dose, Flublock for ages 50 to 64, and senior high dose for ages 65 and older.
A car seat check lane will be 9 to 11 a.m.
People who attend are asked to wear a mask and bring a toy for Marion County Toy Run.
