Flu shots will be arriving soon

Many have asked about the availability of flu shots and when they will be offered at the center. An announcement will be made in this column when Marion County Health Department can schedule a time in October.

“Come to the church in the valley by the Wildwood” at noon today when the Gaither Gospel Singers will perform.

A potluck will be at 6 p.m. Thursday followed by Pat and Herb Bartel of Hillsboro showing photos of Native Alaskan whaling adventures.

Coffee and donuts are served at 9 a.m. daily followed by pool play, and Wii tennis, basketball, baseball, golf or bowling. 

A board meeting will be held after lunch Monday. Bingo will be played Sept. 22.

A $2 day-pass is available next week at Hesston Wellness.

Board president Elaine Goertzen celebrated her 85th birthday.
