Rick and LaVae Koehn and boys, Roger and Geneva Koehn, and the Tim Koehn family had dinner at the home of Roy and Nadine Davis May 8 in Burns to celebrate LaVae’s birthday.
Bruce and Cheryl Dirks of Milken, Colo., visited the area the week of May 5. On May 8 they and Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Sandy Wiebe, Harry and Sheryle Rhodes, and Larry and Wanda Koehn were supper guests at the home of Clayton and Betty Wiebe.
Ransom and Lillian Wiebe left for Fairview, Olka., on May 7 for the memorial service of Roy Dean Nightingale on May 8. His wife is Lillian’s cousin.
Many gathered on May 11 in honor of Mother’s Day. Wayne and Lora Lee Wiebe invited Clayton and Betty Wiebe and Travis and Sharon Koehn and family to dinner.
Calvin and Janene Wiebe had dinner May 11 for Lela Wedel, Harry and Sheryle Rhodes, Ken and Shelli Giesbrecht and Taylor, Darrin and Meri Kay Rhodes, and Terry and Robyn Schultz and family.
Wendell and Linda Wedel had dinner on May 11 with their mother, Naomi Mayeskea, at Moundridge Manor.
Kendall and Susie Wiebe had Merlin and Karletta Wiebe and Janesea and Anthony, and Beth Wiebe and family as dinner guests on May 11.
Roy and Nadine Davis met Harold and Mary Davis and Leo, Cory, and Kelli Davis and son for dinner May 11 in McPherson.
Ransom and Lillian Wiebe were Mother’s Day dinner guests at the home of Jason and Sheri Wiebe. Other guests were Bryan and Rebecca Thomas and family and Chet and Mellissa Boehs and family.
Ron and Dora Unruh, Mark and Barb Unruh and Sara, and Warren and Anita Unruh, Kyle and Jeanna attended the graduation of Matthew Hiebert May 11 at Hesston College. Next year he will attend Kansas State University and study business.
