Gardening event is March 9 in Hutchinson

Hutchinson Horticulture club is hosting a free gardening event called “A Gathering for Gardners” from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 9 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Chruch, 407 E. 12th St., west of the Cosmosphere.

There will be presentations on topics, such as: compost, plants that need less water, top 40 prairies star annuals for color, most common plant problems, container gardens, and front-yard landscaping.
