Goessel music department will have its annual barbecue concert event starting at 5 p.m. Thursday at Goessel High School auditorium to raise money for the choir and band programs, including a spring trip to Dallas.

Pulled pork barbecue, coleslaw, baked beans, chips, and dessert will be served.

Donations will be accepted for the meal, with a suggested amount of $8 to $10.

A 7 p.m. concert will feature music by both Goessel Junior and Senior High music students. Bands and choir will perform music from their music contests and festivals, as well as popular tunes and themes including “Jurassic Park,” “Star Wars,” “E.T.,” and One Republic.
