NORTHWEST OF DURHAM:   Giesbreachts have anniversary

The 25th wedding anniversary of Ken and Shelli Giesbreacht was celebrated on Saturday evening when friends and relatives got together at the Cottonwood Grove School for supper and fellowship. They were married on April 28, 1991.

Mark and Barb Unruh went to the home of Chad and Hillary Stutzman in Hutchinson on Sunday to visit with Barb’s sister-in-law, Elaine Stutzman, who was visiting from Montana.

Calla Wengar hosted a fund raiser supper Friday evening at the home of Calvin and Janene Wiebe. Guests included Darrel and Donita Rhodes, Rick and LaVae Koehn and boys, Jarold and Rhonda Koehn, Trevon and Danielle, and the Calvin Wiebe family.

Merlin and Karletta Wiebe went to Burns Sunday afternoon to the 50th wedding anniversary celebration of William and Donna Koehn.

Dora Unruh accompanied Jim and Brenda Enns to the “Save the World” variety show put on by the Hesston High School singers at Hesston.

The Durham Senior Citizens met at the Community Building Wednesday for a potluck dinner. Barb Hubel and Betty Youk were hostesses, and 18 were in attendance.

Supper guests at the home of Doug and Starla Koehn near Lehigh Sunday evening were Merlin and Karletta Wiebe, Sandy Wiebe, Teresa Wiebe, Gary and Crystal Davis and Carly, and Mike and Mich Rhodes and family.
