Glen Royal Summervill, 86, of Wichita, died Aug. 25. He grew up in Marion.

The funeral service was Tuesday at Central Christian Chapel in Wichita.

He was a Boeing project manager and a longtime member of Central Christian Church. An avid golfer, he also enjoyed woodworking.

He served in the army’s 45th Infantry Division and was a Korean War veteran.

Four brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Lea, of 59 years; two sons, Scott Summervill of Seattle and Marc Summervill of Wichita; one brother, Meryl Summervill of Alvin, Texas; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
