Goessel Community Foundation awarded five community grants April 15 at a five-year celebration and recognition event hosted by the foundation board.
Bethesda Home received a $900 grant from Goessel Senior Endowment to help fund local delivery of meals to senior citizens.
Impact Endowment awarded grants to Goessel Public Library for $500 to replace outdated library computer monitors, USD 411 for $250 for the Goessel grade school gardening project, and Tabor food pantry for $250 for food items.
Families and Community Services were awarded $250 for Kinderhaus Child Care program.
Goessel Community Foundation’s fundraising campaign is wanting to raise $117,000 for the local Impact Fund by 2017.
