GOESSEL: GHS boys post best times

Laird Goertzen and Nathan Czarnowsky earned points with their best times of the season in the 3200-meter run for the Goessel High School boys April 26 at the Hillsboro track meet.
John Berkholz continued to perform well picking up first-place medals in the 200 and 400 dashes and third place in the 100 dash and long jump.
The Bluebirds will be at Remington on Friday.

100-meter dash — 3. Berkholz, 11.94 seconds.
200 — 1. Berkholz, 23.60.
400 — 1. Berkholz, 52.29.
1600 — 3. Goertzen, 5:09.18; 5. Adam Meysing, 5:22.13.
3200 — 2. Goertzen, 10:15.58; 4. Czarnowsky, 11:41.06; 5. Heath Goertzen, 12:14.24.
Long jump — 3. Berkholz, 19 feet, 2.50 inches.
