The Goessel Bluebirds had no problem Tuesday with Stafford in a first-round game of the Berean Tournament.
Goessel jumped all over the Trojans, scoring at will in the first quarter. By halftime the Bluebirds led 29-7.
Goessel finished the game with a running clock, overwhelming Stafford 56-10.
Page Hiebert and Eden Hiebert led the Bluebird scoring with 22 and 8 points respectively.
The Bluebirds, now 10-1, will play at 6 p.m. Thursday at Berean, and again on Saturday.
