GOESSEL GOAL-GETTERS: Goessel Goal-Getters 4-H club
Goessel Goal Getters 4-H Club met Oct. 7 at Goessel High School.
Twenty-one members answered roll call, and four leaders, four parents, and one guest were present.
Mackenzie Voth led the pledge and Madelyn Olson led singing.
Marion County Farm Bureau was reported to have contributed $35 to the club in honor of National 4-H Week.
New officers were installed. They were Elyse Boden, president; Katelyn Olson, vice president; Brooke Nafziger, secretary; Alyssa Boden, treasurer; Ruby Shaver, reporter; Katelyn and Ben Olson, county 4-H council representatives; Eli Boden, parliamentarian; Cambry Duerksen and
Cali Stucky, digital media technicians; and Madelyn and Levi Olson, EV Cannon, and Delaney Gibson, recreation leaders.
Community leaders gave each officer a different piece of fruit, relating each fruit to that particular office and showing how together the officers made a fruit salad.
The next meeting will be 7 p.m. Nov. 7 in the Goessel High School library. Anyone interested in 4-H is invited to attend.
