Goessel golfer middle of pack at state
Goessel High School golfer Dylan Linderman finished the rain-delayed Class 2A state golf tournament 35th out of 76 golfers last week.
He shot a 49 on the front nine but with three pars on the final three holes tallied a 44 on the back nine.
The tournament, in Hesston, was delayed from May 20, and the course was still soggy from the tournament.
“Dylan had three holes that caused problems,” coach and father Chad Linderman said, “but other than that he had a good round.”
