Goessel golfers compete at Herington

The Goessel High School golf team competed at Herington Monday.

The Bluebirds were the lone Heart of America league team with enough competitors for a team score.

Dylan Lindeman paced the Bluebirds with a seventh-place finish, shooting an 89 and remain consistent as Goessel’s leading scorer.

Monday marked the first time of the season Caiden Duerksen eclipsed the 100-shot barrier with a 96.

Gunnar Davis finished six strokes behind with a 102 and Alyssa Burkholder and Kendall Hiebert each shot a 110.

The Bluebirds will compete Monday at the Marion regional.
