Goessel golfers medal, win

The Bluebird golf team put together a team score of 394 to capture first place at the Central Christian golf meet at Carey Park in Hutchinson.

Goessel’s Michal Holada finished in first place with a score of 78, 14 strokes ahead of second place.

Rhett Makovec followed with a score of 100, earning a sixth place medal.

Dylan Lindeman came in at 104 tied for eighth place.

Carson Sterk improved his score for the season at 112 and Miguel Guerrero came in one stroke behind at 113.

Pretty Prairie came in second with a team score of 400 and Central Christian finished third at 414.

Goessel will compete at the Remington Golf meet at Fox Ridge Golf Course in Newton on Thursday.
