Goessel High School graduates Gentry Thiesen and Joshua Schmidt are the latest recipients of Goessel Community Foundation scholarships.

Thiesen, a pre-med major at Wichita State University, received an $850 Joyful Noise Child Care scholarship.

Schmidt, who will be a physical education major at Kansas State University this fall, received a $500 Karen Rae McIntosh teaching scholarship.
