Harvest Festival will be Sept. 26, downtown Goessel.
An arts and crafts show will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Goessel Grade School, 500 E. Main.
Vintage cars and collector’s vehicles will be on display 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in a parking lot, south of Goessel Civic Center, 101 S. Cedar. Prizes will be awarded for first and second Best of Show. The second annual Harvest Festival Golf Tournament will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start of a two-person scramble at Pine Edge Golf Course, one mile south of Goessel on K-15 and 1.5 miles east on 130th Road. A fitness fun walk is open to all ages and free of charge. It will be one to two miles, 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. The route begins at Goessel Grade School and goes to Bethesda Home for a watermelon social. Walkers will proceed to Westbranch City Park for 10 minutes of games and to the baseball field to dedicate a new bridge. Walkers can cool off in sprinklers, if the weather is warm. The walk will continue to the museum by a walking path north of Bethesda duplexes, crossing grass, through the museum grounds, and returning to the school.
Grab lawn chairs, cowboy hats, and boots and head to Main Street for a street dance beginning at 6 p.m. Area band Justus will perform across from Small Town Service Station. Food vendors will be available beginning at 5 p.m.
Inflatable toys for children will be available in the service station parking lot 5 to 8 p.m. with other games.
